What better fitting place is there for Red Gyarados than on top of a roof?

Done in chalk again, unfortunately I ran out of black and wasn't able to finish it. I wanted to get some more and go back and finish it, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to.

Just to give you an idea as to how big this is, I could barely reach the top layer of pixels by standing on the tips of my feet and I'm a relatively tall person. If I do go back to finish it, I'll definitely need something to stand on.

I love this. I was interested in doing something similar. My friend is great at pixelated art and I love to graffiti when I can (which isn't that often). I was just wondering if you did this on the spur of the moment or if you planned it out (and if so, how did you do it? did you use a program that would essentially see each brick as a single pixel?) Thanks. Nice shiny you got there.

It wasn't that planned out but, it wasn't really on a whim either. All I did was copy the sprite on the internet, enlarged it, and copied it down onto some graph paper. Then I just figured the size of pixel based on the height of each individual brick.

I had to use paper chalk for this one since I couldn't find any black sidewalk chalk.

paper chalk can do that? its more impressive than i thought (the chalk, that is. You're art is just as awesome as i though; the most awesome xD)
i might get a chalk kit and take this up. not sure that British cops would take too lightly if they saw me, but its worth a shot :D

The consistency of the paper chalk was a lot better than the sidewalk chalk. It covered better and didn't wash off quite as easily as the sidewalk chalk. The only thing though is that it fades more quickly. I'd like to see what you come up with.
